Bixter Training offers candidates an opportunity to gain experience in their field by offering various traineeships and internships in Europe. This incredible internship offers candidates an opportunity to practice skills, learn new techniques, obtain perspective of a work environment, and have the benefits of training with mentors. This training program is set up to build the candidates knowledge, skills, and experience, with the aim of these candidates going back to their home countries to become leaders in their fields, by implementing what they have learnt abroad into the local work environment. Apart from developing their professional skills, candidates will experience personal growth, cultural awareness, foreign language skills, expanding professional and personal networks, enjoy travel opportunities and obtain better career prospects.
- Candidates’ main responsibilities will be to provide support to the head chef in preparing dishes, preparation of food, catering duties, daily tasks and to ensure tidiness of the establishment

ABOUT THE PROGRAM
- Duration of course: 12 months (possible extension)
Work hours: 40 working hours per week, Overtime working hours are paid accordingly - Remuneration: €12 per hour
- Shared accommodation is provided near the workplace for monthly rent: €350 per month
REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES
- Age: 21 – 40
- Must have a minimum B1 English level
- For specific positions A2 level of German is required
- Candidates must have a completed education; either a diploma or degree in the following fields: culinary, gastronomy, restaurant and cooking or hospitality
- University must be a H+ status institution (University recognized in Germany)
- Candidates must have relevant work experience of a minimum of 3 years, as a cook/kitchen chef
- Candidates must show appropriate work ethic and leadership skills
- Candidates must be financial ready to cover own expenses for the program
- Have a valid international passport
- Driver’s license (car category) will be an advantage
CANDIDATES FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS
- Bixter services: €850
- Visa: €90
- Brandbox fees: €500
- Health insurance
- Travel expenses (flights)
- Pocket money
This traineeship requires the candidate to pay for the program, however the candidate is awarded a salary during the 12 months of the course. Candidates can earn their expenses back within 3 months!!!
