Job opportunity: QUALITY CONTROLLER
Etosha Fishing Corporation (Pty) Ltd a substantial contributor in the Namibian Fishing Industry, and an equal opportunity employer has a fixed-term (Seasonal) vacancy in Walvis Bay for four (4) QUALITY CONTROLLERS.
You possess the following knowledge / abilities / skills:
- Grade 12
- A Diploma or Degree in Food Science and Technology, Agriculture, Microbiology or Fisheries
- Minimum one (1) year experience in a food manufacturing business as quality controller
- Good HACCP, Hygiene, Good Manufacturing Practice and Health & Safety knowledge
- Must understand HACCP manuals, flow processes and hazard analysis
- Detail & deadline orientated and systematic
- Must follow rules and procedures strictly
- Able to plan work and deliver on results
- Good report writing
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent English command
You wish to execute the following responsibilities:
- Ensure factory inspections and monitoring are done correctly
- Ensure employees adhere to the food safety & HACCP policies of the company
- Correctly recording and reporting any non-conformances
- Communicate, write and report on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Etosha Fishing offers a market related salary.
Commencement of work is between 1-8 June 2024
